The Society of Energy Editors convened its inaugural seminar on 2 September 2026 under the theme “Reporting Evolving Industry: The Nigerian Experience.” The brief was a serious working room — not a highlight reel — where editors could hear a clear argument about the energy landscape, press the speaker with live questions, and leave with sharper judgment.

Dr. Charles Ebereonwu delivered the key presentation. The session was designed to hold under unscripted questions: deep industry context, practical media implications, and enough structure that the day still felt like work rather than theatre.
